The Artane Band is a marching band for young musicians based at the Artane School of Music in Artane, Dublin.
Artane, sometimes spelled Artaine (Irish: Ard Aidhin), historically Tartaine is a northside suburb of Dublin city, Ireland. It is also a civil parish in the ancient barony of Coolock. Artane is also a parish in the Fingal South East deanery of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin.

Before entering Artane, Patrick had never encountered violence. There, however, boys were beaten with straps on the slightest pretext, he recalled.
