The album stayed on top the Billboard 200 for 24 weeks, and was given the Diamond certification in November of 2012, eventually going 14x platinum. For her next act, Ms. Adkins demolished NSYNC's record for first-week sales with her follow-up effort, 25, moving an incomprehensible . 8 million in its debut frame, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Britney’s chips-half-in debut effort has aged about as well as an album with a Sonny & Cher cover, special guest appearances from Mikey Bassie and Don Phillip, and a climactic slow song called E-Mail My Heart could be expected to. But Crazy still goes – if not as hard as in its Melissa Joan Hart-approved remix – and we’ll know the aliens come in peace if they make first contact via the title track’s three-note piano hook.

Although Les Brown gets top billing on this set of 1957 radio airchecks, his big band actually functions as a backup orchestra for singers Julie London, Jo Ann Greer, June Christy and (on "Oh Baby") bandmember Stumpy Brown; only "My Baby Just Cares for Me" is an instrumental. Each of the vocalists are in fine form with Greer holding her own with the better-known Christy and London. Since most of these selections are only about two minutes long, the band has little to do other than read its parts so this CD is recommended mostly to fans of the singers.
First Dethklok Show in 5 Years. And then, with the help of his faithful guitarist, co-songwriter, and co-conspirator Andy LaRocque, King Diamond proceeded to fill the ensuing decades with bone-chilling ghost stories and head-banging music, to the tune of a dozen studio efforts, and counting. So turn on all the house lights and steel your courage, pull back the cobwebs and watch out for child ghosts, in particular, as we creep together through King Diamond’s haunted discography, ranked from worst to best, in the gallery above.
Black, Brown and Beige is a 1958 jazz album by Duke Ellington and his orchestra, featuring Mahalia Jackson. The album is a recording of a revised version of Ellington's Black, Brown and Beige suite. After a disappointing critical response to its first performance in 1943, Ellington divided the three-part suite into six shorter sections, leaving in "Come Sunday" and "Work Song", and it is this version that is recorded here. All tracks by Duke Ellington.
