Cherries On A Blacklist is a four-piece band formed by three Greeks (Andreas, George, Malapert), and a Mexican (Gonzo) based in Hamburg, Germany. Their debut album Lakafigo starts off strong with a driving rhythm section, interesting guitar-riffs, and distinctive vocals. Other tracks in the album like Siren Song and their single Goat in the Yard deliver a taste of the band’s smoother side, featuring cleaner sounds, nostalgic vocals, but still provide the roughness and live feel introduced from the very beginning.
