Waters of Change is the second studio album from symphonic Prog rock band Beggars Opera. Waters of Change is a bit different compared to the debut but still has most of the characteristics of Beggars Opera. Beggars Opera does lack some better intrumental sections which involves something else that organ soloing. The production is good for the time and much better than on the debut. Waters of Change is a good symphonic prog rock album but I dont think its excellent.

Act One (Beggars Opera album). Act One is the debut album of the Scottish progressive band Beggars Opera
Glasgow, Scotland, progressive rock band Beggars Opera was formed in the late 60s by Marshall Erskine (bass/flute), Ricky Gardener (guitar/vocals), Martin Griffiths (vocals/percussion), Alan Park (keyboards) and Raymond Wilson (drums). The groups grandiose ambition was to fuse classical and progressive rock elements, an accommodation they achieved but only to moderate critical and commercial interest. The album included a preposterous rendition of Classical Gas, which was eventually released as a single in its own right four years later. The group then expanded to a quintet with the addition of t Gordon Sellar (bass, guitar, vocals) for the follow-up collection, Waters Of Change.
