Chief Adedara Arunra L'Oja Oba, the Odofin of Iperindo, is a versatile traditional musician widely regarded as an exponent of the Adamo music in Ijesaland. This music form is percussion-led and features a rich repertoire of the traditional call-and-response for which African music is generally noted. Adedara is a proud son of Ijesaland and peaked at his fame in the late 70s and through the 80s dishing out music that was laden with native Yoruba wisdom while not forgetting to sing the praises of other worthy Ijesa sons and daughters.
