Sentimental Education is an album by the New Zealand group, Sneaky Feelings. First released as an LP in 1986, it was re-released with extra tracks as a CD the following year. Several of these extra tracks had previously been released as singles, including the band's biggest single, "'Husband House". Tracks marked with an asterisk were not on the original vinyl release. Sentimental Education is an album by the New Zealand group, Sneaky Feelings. The Strange and Conflicting Feelings of Separation and Betrayal. The version of "Backroom" released on this album is a completely different recording to that which had earlier been on the Dunedin Double EP. Fan and NZ music enthusiast and archivist Donald McLeod has completed his new live album 'Living Up To Their Name' of the band on his label 'Pinenut Records', recorded in the heyday at The Gluepot in 1987. His aim was to capture the full dynamic sound of the band, and using the early DIY ethos and live sound feel as found on the early Flying Nun 45s, EPs and mini-albums, of which 'Send You' pioneered in to the studio.
