The collection, released on June 26, 2006, includes the full newly remastered album, never before seen photos, bonus material, interviews and more. The second disc traced the band's evolution from various bands in the early 1970s to the formation of Daniel Amos in 1975.

Daniel Amos began as an acoustic quartet formed in 1975 by Terry Scott Taylor, Steve Baxter, Jerry Chamberlain and Marty Dieckmeyer. d the band shortly after the release of its first album). Although some of the band members' previous bands had been playing straight rock music, . s early sound was heavily inspired by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Band and The Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Harvest Rock Syndicate said that the album "defies easy description. After a short hiatus, which included numerous solo albums from Taylor, several albums by the Swirling Eddies, a couple of live releases and an endless amount of production work for other artists, the band returned in 1991 with Kalhoun.

Daniel Amos really got a bad rap in the Church when they first started making music and I could never understand why. When I listen to the Christian music today I wonder if these artists know, understand, and appreciate what the musicians of the sixties and seventies endured. Their legacy is priceless. Artists like Daniel Amos, Petra, Randy Matthews, Larry Norman and the like were vilified by much of the established Church but fully embraced by those of us who grew up listening to-and liking-rock 'n roll. This is classic Country Rock Style album by one of the most talented and relative bands in the Christian Music Scene today. We are treated to the classic Shotgun Angel album. all songs are superb and well produced and then we get the bonus disc that has 26 tracks that were recorded back when the album was taking shape.
