Thunder In My Heart". Standing here alone with you Wondering what it is that I'm supposed to do And there you are with the lovelight in your eyes Your bridges are burnt down Your arms are open wide Am I in too deep or should I swim to the shore Is this the real thing I don't know But I've never been here before.

This became a UK hit in 2006 when it was remixed by DJ Meck (Craig Dimech), who found a vinyl copy of Sayer's original in a Los Angeles record store and decided to turn it into a dance mix. DJs like Fatboy Slim started playing the track, unaware that it was a Sayer song. Sayer gave his blessing for the remix. In the London Times, February 13, 2006, he said: "He's changed it completely, yet kept all of its integrity. They said I'd be the kiss of death. All those DJs wouldn't touch the thing with a barge pole. Meck remixed this song in 2006 and called it 'Thunder In My Heart Again'. Songfacts Newsletter.
