Facts of Life is the fifth studio album by American musician Bobby Womack. The album was released on June 8, 1973, by United Artists Records. The album raced to No. 6 on the US Billboard R&B chart. It also charted at No. 37 on the Billboard Pop chart. The album included the hit single "Nobody Wants You When You're Down and Out" (which charted No. 2 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart). The Facts of Life is an American sitcom and a spin-off of Diff'rent Strokes that originally aired on NBC from August 24, 1979, to May 7, 1988, making it one of the longest-running sitcoms of the 1980s. The series focuses on Edna Garrett (Charlotte Rae) as she becomes a housemother (and from the second season onward, a dietitian as well) at the fictional Eastland School, an all-female boarding school in Peekskill, New York.
