Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell. Redirected from Bat out of Hell II: Back into Hell). Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell is the sixth studio album by American rock singer Meat Loaf and was written and produced by Jim Steinman. It was released in September 1993, sixteen years after Meat Loaf's first solo album Bat Out of Hell. The album reached number 1 in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia.

Reprising the formula of the original nearly to the letter, Back Into Hell is bombastic and has too much detail, thanks to the pseudo-operatic splendor of Jim Steinman's grandly cinematic songs. From the arrangements to the lengths of the tracks, everything on the album is overstated; even the album version of the hit single, "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)," is 12 minutes long. Yet that's precisely the point of this album, and is also why it works so well

BACK INTO HELL: Little musical interlude - could take it or leave it but serves some continuity and recalls some of the CD's previous riffs - I like it would but would not put this in a comp. But zero complaints and the more I hear it the more I like it. LOST BOY & GOLDEN GIRLS - from BAD FOR GOOD, Meat brings a passion to this and Steinman brings a production to this which turns this into a painfully emotional ending for one of the best CDS and comeback attempts of all time. This is what Steinman's 1980 solo album Bad to be Good (which was supposed to be the true followup to Bat out of Hell) might have been like in terms of quality if Meat Loaf hadn't gotten strung out on drugs and lost his singing voice for a short time.

Meat Loaf - Out of the Frying Pan (And into the Fire) 06. Meat Loaf - Objects In The Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are 07. Meat Loaf - Wasted Youth 08. Meat Loaf - Everything Louder Than Everything Else 09. Meat Loaf - Good Girls Go to Heaven (Bad Girls Go Everywhere) 10. Meat Loaf - Back into Hell 11. Meat Loaf - Lost Boys and Golden Girls.

It was released sixteen years after Meat Loaf's first solo album Bat Out of Hell. It reached the number one positions in the USA, the UK, and Australia. Three tracks were released as singles, including "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)", which reached number one in 28 countries. Some of the songs were intended for Meat Loaf's second solo album. But due to problems with the singer's voice, and other disagreements, Meat Loaf's voice did not end up on that album. Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell is a 1993 studio album by Meat Loaf and was written and produced by Jim Steinman. It was released sixteen years after Meat Loaf's first solo album Bat Out of Hell.
