This is a white label test pressing of the Side Car Freddie single with identical matrix numbers on the runout etching, plus a handwritten U-number on the A side label. This is Hoover's first 7", released in 1992 as Dischord 7. /Hoover Limited 01. Their second, 'Return', was released shortly afterwards (FLEX says '92; T-DT-B says '93) as Dischord 8. /Hoover Limited 02, and its three songs (Dries') are included in the CD version of Lurid Traversal (1993, Dischord 89). Their split with Lincoln, released on Art Monk Construction, was released in 1993. This 7" is quality stuff as well as an insight into the early sound.

Hoover split up in 1994, and have reformed twice: once in 1997 to record a mini-album of 'odds and ends', and again in 2004 to tour Europe and also performed some shows back in their homeland.
