Molly Drake (born Mary Lloyd, 5 November 1915 – 4 June 1993) was a Welsh poet and musician, best known as the mother of the musician Nick Drake. Molly Drake never released any official publications of her poetry or compositions in her lifetime, but she had a profound impact on the musical style of her son. As Nick Drake's music gained a larger following after his death, Molly Drake's recordings have been released, which uncover the musical similarities between her and her son.

Diversions, Vol. 4: The Songs and Poems of Molly Drake. Molly Drake, who was a huge musical influence on her son, never released any of her home recordings during her lifetime, though an eponymous compilation of her songs and poems was issued in 2013 via Squirrel Thing Records. Like Nick, Molly was a deft weaver of atmosphere, and her words and music lend themselves well to the Unthanks' particular brand of spectral, contemporary English folk music - much of the poetry and spoken word bits were performed by Molly's daughter Gabrielle  .

Molly was probably an early influence on Nick, because she played the piano and wrote songs herself. She once composed a hole suite of children's songs for Nick and Gabrielle. Molly passed away in 1993, and is burried next to Nick and Rodney at the St Mary Magdalene churchyard in Tanworth-in-Arden.
