Vengeance Falls is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Trivium, released October 10, 2013 in Japan, October 14 in UK, and October 15 in US via Roadrunner Records. It is the second and last album to feature second drummer Nick Augusto before he had departed from the band in May 2014. In January 2013 bassist Paolo Gregoletto posted photos of the band working on their next studio release.

When Trivium started teasing all of us with their album, and when I knew Draiman was going to produce this, I expected something brilliant and marvelous. Then we started seeing part of what the artwork was going to be, and it kept me wondering what this album was going to be about. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to Heafy's cover of Harvest until months later (don't ask why). Trivium was definitely promising something concrete and whole.

Trivium present their 6th album - definitely one of their heaviest, while at the same time melodic efforts. Over the last 2 and ½ years the band honed their craft while touring with Dream Theater, Slipknot, Asking Alexandria and more. They entered the studio with Disturbed frontman David Draiman producing and delivered a powerful album featuring the lead radio single "Strife.

Overall, 'Vengeance Falls' is a good metalcore album. Some parts could have been improved, most notably the intro to 'No Way to Heal' and 'Vengeance Falls', but throughout the 10 tracks you get the feeling Trivium have matured as musicians. They have given a reason for fans to forgive them for 'The Crusade' as they are now leading the dwindling metalcore scene with a solid set of tracks, and even though it isn't their best work, it is still refreshing and glorious. Terrible album by Trivium's standards. I've been a massive Trivium fan since the beginning, but this album may change that. Although i didTerrible album by Trivium's standards. Although i did stay a fan through the crusade, and they came out with amazing albums such as shogun and in waves, but this album is just that bad.
