Carl Barât is the debut solo album by Libertines co-frontman Carl Barât. It was released on 4 October 2010 in the UK. The album was mastered in New York City and was the first album released through his own self-funded record label Arcady, but distributed through PIAS Recordings. The first single to be released from the album was "Run with the Boys". Its release was timed to coincide with Barât's memoirs, titled Threepenny Memoirs. Magus" (Barat/ Andrew Wyatt).

Carl Barât & The Jackals are soon set to unveil debut album, Let it Reign, which promises to be one of the most exciting albums of 2015. Released February 16th through Cooking Vinyl Records, Let it Reign was recorded in LA and London, and was produced by Joby J. Ford (The Bronx). Watch the teaser vid below

Released October 4, 2010. Carl Barât Tracklist. After the breakup of his previous band Dirty Pretty Things, Carl Barât chose to release his own solo album. However, it was not particularly well received, peaking at 52 in the UK albums chart, lower than either of the two albums released by Dirty Pretty Things. Shortly afterwards, when discussing image, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys said that. There’s nobody wants to punch in the face more than Carl Barât, you know.

Album: Carl Bar& Carl Bar& (Arcady). Regrets, self-disgust and wretchedness: God, I love myself. At first glance, he looks like a bit of a Herbert. It's hard to say why the cover of the solo debut from Carl Barât – hair slicked back, wifebeater vest, pointing a camera at us like it's a clichéd MySpace mirror shot – is so hilarious: it just is. But it's also a visual allegory for the record itself, right down to the skinny model posed irrelevantly out of focus and facing out of shot
