The Bob Dylan World Tour 1966 was a concert tour undertaken by American musician Bob Dylan, from February to May 1966. Dylan's 1966 World Tour was notable as the first tour-actually a continuation of his late 1965 . tour-where Dylan employed an electric band backing him, following his "going electric" at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. The musicians Dylan employed as his backing band were known as The Hawks; they subsequently became famous as The Band
The Bob Dylan and the Band 1974 Tour – often referred to as Tour '74 – was a two-month concert tour in early 1974 that featured Bob Dylan, in his first real tour in eight years, performing with The Band. As The Hawks, the then little-known group had backed him on his previous tour, the exhaustive 1966 world tour, between the releases of Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde on Blonde.
The Bob Dylan Gospel Tour was a concert tour by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan that consisted of 79 concerts in North America in three legs, lasting from November 1, 1979 to May 21, 1980. In February 1978, Dylan initiated a ten-month World Tour that consisted of 114 concerts in ten countries.
The Bootleg Series Vol. 5: Bob Dylan Live 1975, The Rolling Thunder Revue is a live album by Bob Dylan released by Columbia Records in 2002. Until the release of this album, the only official live documentation of the Rolling Thunder Revue was Hard Rain, recorded during the (less critically well received) second leg of the tour.
Dylan is an album compiled by Columbia Records consisting of outtakes by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on November 19, 1973. The tracks were assembled and issued by the label with no input from Dylan himself. The album followed the artist's departure from Columbia for Asylum Records, and the announcement of his first major tour since 1966
The Bob Dylan England Tour 1965 was a concert tour by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan during late April and early May 1965. The tour was widely documented by filmmaker D. A. Pennebaker, who used the footage of the tour in his documentary Dont Look Back. As Dylan was still playing exclusively folk music live, much of the material performed during this tour was written pre-1965. Each show was divided into two halves, with seven songs performed during the first, and eight during the second
