While overall being comprised of mostly pleasant songs, Lovingly Yours, is not a standout recording in the Hank Snow catalogue; it's probably about as middle-of-the-road as anything you'll find his name attached to. Sadly, it's also one of the last recordings he ever made. Though Snow is in fine form vocally, the material, mostly comprised of extremely mediocre pop balladry, is substantially overblown with rather trite overstatements fronting songs that contain little emotional punch.
