Software is Grace Slick's 1984 album released by RCA Records. A music video was made for the single "All the Machines". Software is Grace Slick's fourth and final solo album.

Grace Barnett Wing Slick (born October 30, 1939) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, artist and former model, widely known in rock and roll history for her role in San Francisco's burgeoning psychedelic music scene in the mid-1960s. Her music career spanned four decades. She also had a sporadic solo career. Software has been described as Slick's attempt to assimilate with the techno-pop artists of the period.

Grace slick was a great artist musically. And we see her rock hard with the wrecking ball. and then do a new wavey cd with 'software', You couldn't get these anywhere for decades so thanks to bgo for puttting this out. Grace is now a artist but back then she was a hot middle aged lady who could deliver the goods musically. This is for grace fans and for fans of good rock music. It is depressing that the 1981 album was not given any mass radio play because it was so much better than any of the other female artists out back in the early 1980s. Sadly, I think somehow the media depicted Grace as all drugs and sex while ignoring her vocal ability and because of this Grace was not given the reverence or renown she deserved, never given the radio airplay warranted, and gave up on recording far,far too early.
