Definitely the best Priest album, and one of the best metal albums. There really isn't a single track on here that's bad, all of them are fantastic. Painkiller is the heaviest this band has ever gone. First Priest album I listened to was Painkiller as I was a fan of the heavier, thrashier sound of 'tallica, Megadeth and Slayer. But right after listening to this album for the first time, I was completely MINDBLOWN and I have been fully convinced that Priest is the best metal band of all time due to its variety. I have listened to their other albums).
