Ildjarn is Dead Information. Track listing (Songs).
Ildjarn was a black metal project from Norway that formed in 1991. Ildjarn recorded music until 1997 but did not officially end until 2005. The man behind Ildjarn was Vidar Vaaer, although some releases were collaborations with a musician known as Nidhogg. Ildjarn's music was a very simple and lo-fi brand of black metal, with most songs composed of basic drum patterns, a couple of riffs, and unintelligible vocals.

Ildjarn is a forgotten master of extreme, raw black metal. His music is even better than Burzum's. You can feel the truth behind distorted, noisy songs of man who recorded music just for himself. OK, it's minimalistic, it's badly recorded and it's often just an unoriginal riff mixed with mind-destroying screams - but it's all about being like that. This sounds like hate, misanthropy, loneliness and despair - it couldn't sound different. You couldn't include so much anger and sadness in any other genre of music.
