Without Bolin, the band took a decided turn toward jazz. This is a stunning album, featuring unknown classics like "Moving Too Fast," "Chasing Clouds," and "Winter Always Finds M. Lead singer Candy Givens died in 1984, and this album is perhaps her most passionate legacy.
sunset ride LP. Zephyr Format: Vinyl. Along comes Sunset Ride and I could tell the band had arrived someplace. This was so different from the first album and such an improvement over the second. This was more the type of album for getting stoned with the lady you hope to bed as the night grown on. It's smooth and musically sophisticated. It has an almost (well, not almost, absolutely) opposite mood from the first album. It's dreamy, almost melancholy.
