Candy Everybody Wants" is the second single by alternative rock group 10,000 Maniacs from their 1992 album Our Time in Eden. The song was written by Dennis Drew and Natalie Merchant, the band's keyboardist and lead singer respectively. Rolling Stone wrote that the song is about "the American appetite for televised sex and violence – and big business's willingness to satisfy that craving.

Everybody Knows is the debut album by English pop singer Sonia, released in April 1990. The album was predominantly written and produced by Stock Aitken Waterman and includes the UK and Irish No. 1 single "You'll Never Stop Me Loving You", and the UK top 20 hits "Can't Forget You", "Listen to Your Heart", "Counting Every Minute", and "End of the World". At the time of release, Sonia became the first female UK artist to achieve five top 20 hit singles from one album.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name" is a song sung by Simon Petrikov to entertain seven-year-old Marceline in "Simon & Marcy. The song is not an original written by Petrikov, but is part of the theme song from the TV series Cheers. Cheers is an American sitcom television series that ran for 11 seasons from 1982 to 1993. Simon Petrikov later sings it to help him keep himself under control while using the crown to fight the mutants. This is the first licensed song to appear in the show.

Everybody knows my name I got fortune, even fame I snap my fingers for a dame There ain't no man that I can't tame The world is hanging on my string I even grabbed that big brass ring There ain't no song that I can't sing Believe me friends, the glamour don't mean anything.
