Nirvana was an American rock band formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987, with drummer Dave Grohl joining the band in 1990. Though their brief run ended following the death of Kurt Cobain in 1994, Nirvana has come to be regarded as one of the most influential and important rock bands of the modern era.

Where the sun don’t ever shine. Где никогда не светило солнце, I would shiver the whole night through. Я дрожал всю ночь напролёт. My girl, my girl, where will you go. Моя девочка, моя девочка, куда ты пойдешь? I’m going where the cold wind blows. Я собираюсь туда, где дует холодный ветер. In the pines, in the pines. Туда, где сосны, туда, где сосны, Where the sun don’t ever shine.

Nirvana is a "best-of" compilation album by the American rock band Nirvana, released in October, 2002. It was the third Nirvana album to be released following the death of vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain in April 1994, and the first to feature studio material. It is also the band's first best-of compilation. The album features the d "You Know You're Right", a song recorded in January 1994 during Nirvana's final studio session.

Released October 29, 2002. 1. You Know You're Right Lyrics. While Nirvana survivors Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic wanted a box set of all the band’s rarities, Kurt Cobain’s widow Courtney Love just wanted a greatest hits album with the last song the trio finished, You Know You’re Right, akin to The Beatles‘ 1. And her wishes were those who prevailed, leading to this record in 2002.

Nirvana's best tracks - not necessarily the same thing as Cobain's best songs, although they frequently overlapped - were buried on album tracks, B-sides, stray singles, so there's no good criteria for why, say, "Dumb" makes the cut and "Aneurysm" doesn't

Everyone knows Nirvana's songs. Lesser known are the stories behind them. Blew’, the first song on '89 debut ‘Bleach’, is about Cobain’s growing sense of claustrophobia living in Aberdeen as a teen. Such was Cobain's restlessness growing up, he had intense visions of killing his school class mates. I fantasised about it but I would have always opted to kill myself first," he later said.

Listening to this for the first time in years - the Leeds gig sound quality is pretty decent for a bootleg - all vocals and instruments are clearly audible, you also get some occasional crowd noise/talking but not in an offensive way. The Holland gig sounds like it could almost be an official release! Must've come straight from the soundboard I'd guess.
