Like any of Blake's too few collections, it shows off the vast range of his repertoire, including ragtime and country shuffle numbers as well as blues. There are some solo numbers as well as duets with a pianist, little bits of minstrel-show style accompaniment from rattlebones and xylophone, and several female guest vocal spots that definately have the required funk.
