Hard rock and heavy metal in the 21st century is the most diverse of any decade. While legacy acts from the '70s and '80s and '90s all continued to release new material, the turn of the millennium has given rise to a whole new crop of artists. Classic artists like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Rush continued to make big splashes in the 2000s and grunge and extreme metal acts from the previous decade continued their dominance.
Album-oriented rock (AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. The roots of the album-oriented rock radio format began with programming concepts rooted in 1960s idealism. The freeform and progressive formats developed the repertoire and set the tone that would dominate AOR playlists for much of its heyday.
For Mac users this nice little program converts FLAC to ALAC preserving all meta data and album artwork. Adjust settings once and then just drag the FLAC files onto the droplet. Sixteen of these in categories Best Engineered Album, Best Surround Sound Album and Producer of the Year. 2L record in spacious acoustic venues: large concert halls, churches and cathedrals. This is actually where we can make the most intimate recordings.
What is Album Only? Some artists and labels prefer certain tracks to be purchased as part of an entire release.
A sampler is an electronic or digital musical instrument which uses sound recordings (or "samples") of real instrument sounds (. a piano, violin or trumpet), excerpts from recorded songs (. a five-second bass guitar riff from a funk song) or found sounds (. sirens and ocean waves). The samples are loaded or recorded by the user or by a manufacturer.
