Nursing Home - ‡ ‡ ‡ album download
Nursing Home is the second album by indie rock band Let's Wrestle. It was released on May 16, 2011 on Full Time Hobby, and the following day on Merge Records. It was produced by Steve Albini. The album's lyrics are consistently clever and witty, and focus on topics such as playing computer games and hanging out with friends. The lyrics are also more self-deprecating and apathetic than those of Let's Wrestle's previous songs.

Nursing homes, also known as old people's homes, care homes, rest homes, and convalescent homes, provide residential care for elderly or disabled people that often includes around-the-clock nursing care. Often these terms have slightly different meanings in the same or different English-speaking countries to indicate that the institutions are public or private or provide mostly assisted living or more or less nursing care and emergency medical care.
After a fairly brilliant debut album, you might expect Let’s Wrestle to struggle a little bit on the follow-up, Nursing Home. Maybe the jokes wouldn’t be as oddball and funny, maybe the songs would be a little dull or rote, maybe the sound would be slicked-up and tired. Maybe it would sound like a less-interesting carbon copy of the charmingly goofy, surprisingly emotional, slightly lunky indie rock of In the Court of the Wrestling Let's.
Nursing Home is the best kind of second album-it reminds you why you liked Let's Wrestle in the first place and manages to improve on an already stellar offering. There's still a lot of fun to be had at this Nursing Home but it's pretty clear that the party is winding down. Whether or not Let's Wrestle can suffer the slings and arrows of young adulthood to fight another day is entirely up to them.
