Volume 3 of this series features Ancerl and the Czech PO in stereo recordings of three great Violin Concertos - Bruch, Mendelssohn and Berg (recorded in 1963, 1964 and 1965 respectively) - with the legendary violinist Josef Suk. The performances are excellent, and Suk and Ancerl's performances compare nicely to more celebrated recordings by Milstein, Menuhin and Mutter.
