The best Eminem album? Either TES or MMLP. Relapse is the runner up. The diversity of content in TES and great lyrics makes it the best in my opinion. To be honest, I voted partly because I want Recovery off the number 1 spot. And the best off Eminem show are on here. So this is why this album should be at the top of the list, followed by the Eminem show, and then by marshall mathers LP. Leaving aside the small FACT that Stan is THE greatest single of all time - even without it this album is Gold. Makes me laugh, shows immense empathy and a refusal not to be himself.

An album so messy that Eminem surprise-released a better album addressing all the people that complained about it. Here, the world’s best-selling rapper battles the Fame Monster as he enters middle age, borrowing the earnest self-examinations sold in Macklemore’s thrift shop. Believe has the chorus Do you still believ. n me? as opposed to saying, This looks like a job for me. On Revival, Em showed the cracks in his confidence - notable since he’s someone so intertwined with the culture of chest-puffing, venom-spraying battle rap that he starred in its definitive movie. He was rewarded with two singles and the best-selling album of his post-rehab career. So why ranked so low? Firstly, despite Eminem’s self-excoriating verses, the production is pure gladiator rap: bombastic, marching-band ready, even a little manipulative.
Eminem’s 2013 album focuses primarily on R-A-P, and it does more than that, if you’re willing to admit that Stronger Than I Was is a credibly belted ballad, that The Monster is a credible, Flo Rida-style crossover-pop song, and that Headlights is a credible apology to his mom. And the little, stirred-in easter eggs that call back to the original Marshall Mathers LP are the right kind of fan service. It’s his lightest album, and that means something these days, since even the best Eminem records feel like an anvil being dropped on the listener to some extent. After the umpteenth song about Kim or Debbie Mathers or pledge to do better for Hailie, it’s a positive relief to hear him mocking Triumph the Insult Comic Dog’s accent ( Ass Like That ) or singing along to a sped-up sample of Heart’s Crazy on You, ( Crazy in Love ) or apologizing for using the n-word as a teen ( Yellow.
His artistic millieu, in many ways, is that of the album, even if he arose in the internet era that has done so much to lessen the importance of the form. So without further ado, here's our ranking Eminem album catalog: these are the 10 best Eminem albums. Eminem is the best-selling hip hop artist of all-time and the best-selling artist of the 2000s with US album sales at over 3. million during the decade. His worldwide albums and singles sales stand at 100 million . In 2002, Eminem's fourth album, The Eminem Show, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and reached the top spot on various charts internationally, as it went on to sell over nineteen million copies worldwide. In the United States, The Eminem Show was the highest-selling album of the year, with sales of almost ten million copies. The. album was certified diamond in the United States, Canada and Australia. In the same year, Eminem released the 8 Mile soundtrack, also including songs by various artists.
The Marshall Mathers LP and Eminem Show are much better reflections of the artist Eminem is. Infinte is Eminem at a young age before he really found his identity as a rapper. The reason Infinite isn’t the best, which someone already touched upon, is because Eminem wasn’t Eminem then. He hadn’t found his niche; if anything, he was just a copycat Nas/Az. The Slim Shady EP took everything great about Infinite- the lyricism, flow, and turned it into the brilliant persona of Slim Shady. I like the EP over the LP because it had darker undertones.
Eminem has taken on many different guises in his 22 year-plus career. Since his global breakthrough in 1999 with My Name Is, the rapper from 8 Mile has scored nine Number 1 singles and nine chart-topping albums on the Official Chart. With the original album often lauded as his best work, anticipation on its follow-up - 13 years in the making - was high. Dr Dre, who produced part one, was once again at the helm, alongside longtime collaborator Rick Rubin. The collection finished at the top end of many influential end-of-year lists, while on the Official Singles Chart it delivered his strongest run of hits in years: Top 5 hits Berzerk and Rap God, plus chart-topper The Monster featuring Rihanna.
