Dancing In The Dark Lyrics. Dancing In The Dark is found on the album Greatest Hits. You can't start a fire You can't start a fire without a spark This gun's for hire Even if we're just dancing in the dark. Message keeps getting clearer Radio's on and I'm moving 'round the place I check my look in the mirror I want to change my clothes, my hair, my face Man I ain't getting nowhere I'm just living in a dump like this There's something happening somewhere Baby I just know that there is. You can't start a fire You can't start a fire without a spark This gun's for hire Even if we're just dancing in the dark blind to the pain and reality of his life.

Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (born 23 September 1949) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. This music is forever for me. It's the stage thing, that rush moment that you live for. It never lasts, but that's what you live for. Time magazine (27 October 1975). Music was my way of keeping people from looking through and around me. I wanted the heavies to know I was around.

Some feel he peaked in 1975 with Born to Run, while others prefer the stark sound of Nebraska and still others love the personal tone of Tunnel of Love.

The first single off of Springsteen’s seminal album Born In The . this track was written two years after most of the other songs on the album. Producer Jon Landau thought the new album lacked a guaranteed hit and pushed Springsteen to draft one more song. The two men got into a brief altercation, after which Bruce wrote Dancing in the Dark about his ‘difficulty writing a hit single and his frustration trying to write songs that will please people’

by Bruce Springsteen. Album: Born In The . Charted: 5 6. Get the Sheet Music License This Song. Springsteen, pianist Roy Bittan, and drummer Max Weinberg recorded the first version of this song themselves because the rest of the band was taking a break when inspiration struck. The song is about a man who wakes up with night sweats lusting for a woman - he feels like he's on fire when he suddenly awakes. Springsteen writes using the voice of many different characters, and they often have some kind of unpleasant ordeal to endure

this bootleg have an excellent sound quality but beware of the pirate bootlegs with less sound quality they look nearly the same and its good pirate work. the pirate bootlegs have simple matrixs on the records (pal 1 pal 2 etc) (this site have help me to buy the original copy. (see for more info about this bootleg and the pirate bootleg)
Thank you for the great informational link to the site you provided there.I bought mine about 2 years ago at a record market at Brunswick Heads, NSW, here in Australia and there were 2 different copies - an original and the bootleg copy. And while I was looking at them both, a dude was hanging over my shoulder bugging me to 'look' at them... jeez... wouldn't leave me alone to make my own mind up. Well, I took the 'Have Gun Will Travel' one and haven't regretted it. But I haven't played it because my turntable isn't the best... so my older brother has helped me out. We washed the vinyls and he's digitising them for me so I don't have to play the vinyls.
The easy way to tell the 'pirate' release (which was made in Italy not the US) which has worse sound quality is by the label which has an image of a 'knight' chess piece.
From the notes above""Box is repro of Paladin with original titles". Repro implies a copy it is not a copy it is from the original plates so the same sound quality just added new matrix #'s to correspond with the new labels. The Box is slightly different (improved) on front the tuning pegs cleaned up and title closer to the spine of the box. Back cover professionally typeset, with ornaments in silver added and the overall printing is a little bit lighter
