Mockin' Bird Hill (Horton) by The Pinetoppers, vocal by the Beaver Valley Sweethearts. Once Les Paul-Mary Ford and Patti Page began jumping up the charts with their cover versions of the Vaughn Horton tune, this Pinetoppers original (a top-5 country record) began showing its own mainstream appeal, eventually reaching on the pop juke box charts. The group's hit "Lonely Little Robin" is also included in this 1951 collection.
