Shallow Believer is a EP by American rock band The Used that was released digitally on February 19, 2008. The album is a compilation of b-sides from their first 3 studio albums. The artwork was done by Bert McCracken and Alex Pardee. It gets its title from a lyric in the song "Slit Your Own Throat". On Record Store Day (April 18, 2015) the compilation received a physical release on royal blue vinyl, limited to 3,000 copies. All tracks written by The Used.

I was expecting a bit more but i guess it's good mastering in general. Not the best i've heard but a lot of the details do shine through. Maybe the guitars are a bit onedimensional, not sure how to describe them, but they are alright, maybe flat is the word? also the bass is not as present as i would have hoped. Probably drums and vocals are the most distinguishable/present part of the mix which is alright, it is also nice that some of the effects shine through as i mentioned before.
