Mickey Finn – D-Pressed, Reality. Label: Dee Jay Recordings – DJX 0011. Bizarre how this track is so cheap on here - although Micky Finn has got a bit of a chequered musical history (IMO) the title track here is really beautiful and has a Spiritual Aura feeling but with its own unique uplifting sound. Very nice indeed and always makes me happy when I hear it. Reply Notify me 3 Helpful.
In slang, a Mickey Finn-or simply a Mickey-is a drink laced with a psychoactive drug or incapacitating agent (especially chloral hydrate) given to someone without their knowledge, with intent to incapacitate them. Serving someone a "Mickey" is most commonly referred to as slipping someone a mickey.
