Rock Action is the third studio album by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai. The album was produced by Dave Fridmann of Mercury Rev in New York. Rock Action brought with it some changes to Mogwai's sound that they would continue to develop later, including the use of electronic instruments. While song structures on this album are typical of the band in most cases and respects, some of the contrasting dynamics have been toned down slightly and many of the songs focus more on texture than on structure
Cardinal is a Canadian crime drama television series, which was first broadcast on January 25, 2017, on CTV (in English) and Super Écran (in French). The series adapts the novels of crime writer Giles Blunt, focusing on police detective John Cardinal (Billy Campbell) and his partner Lise Delorme (Karine Vanasse), who investigate crimes in the fictional city of Algonquin Bay.
Cardinal struggles to right past wrongs that could derail his investigation and end his career, as the case grows more violent and twisted, and the clock ticks down on the killer's next victim. Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends.

Maybe it's their film-making backgrounds but, says Demri-Burns, "with us, the gag tends to be as much about the small detail, the look and the cut-away as it is about the lines. It's about committing to each world and it being really believable. Take their running gag about two London-Turkish taxi drivers, Hashtag and Bukake, starring in their own 1980s cop show: the clash of lavishly laid-on atmosphere, melodramatic stylings and humdrum action is very funny. These creations first appeared on stage in 2009, singing "my tax disc's expired" to the tune of Kings of Leon's Sex on Fire.
