It's Over" is an American song composed by Roy Orbison and Bill Dees and sung by Orbison. Produced by Fred Foster and engineered by Bill Porter, the song was released as a 45rpm single by Monument Records in 1964, "It's Over" typifies the operatic rock ballad. The single entered the United States Cashbox chart on April 11, 1964, peaking at N. 0 (on May 23, 1964), and reached No. 9 on the Billboard pop music chart.

Oh, Pretty Woman" or "Pretty Woman" is a song recorded by Roy Orbison, written by Orbison and Bill Dees. It was released as a single in August 1964 on Monument Records and spent three weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 from September 26, 1964, the second single by Orbison to top the US charts. It was also Orbison's third single to top the UK Singles Chart (for a total of three weeks). The record ultimately sold seven million copies and marked the high point in Orbison's career.

It's quite complicated, but it's probably in the presentation, or if I'm really singing like I know I can and I'm doing the job that I should be doing, then it could be that the voice quality in parts has a melancholy something. This was used in the 1990 movie of the same name starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. When the film was shot, its working title was 3000; the song was added later and became the title. Other movies that have used this song include Dumb and Dumber (1994) and Au Pair (1999). In 1989, the controversial rap group 2 Live Crew recorded a parody. In 1964, Orbison was the only American artist to have a UK hit, and he did it twice - with "(Oh) Pretty Woman" and "It's Over.
