2001 is the second studio album by American rapper and producer Dr. Dre. It was released on November 16, 1999, by Interscope Records as the follow-up to his 1992 debut album The Chronic. The record was produced primarily by Dr. Dre and Mel-Man, as well as Lord Finesse, and features several guest contributions from fellow American rappers such as The . Hittman, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Xzibit, Eminem, and Nate Dogg.

Dre's album, The Chronic, is easily argued to be his best work, featuring some of the rapper's most popular songs. Upon leaving the rap group . Dre went on to compose The Chronic-his first solo album. Considered to be one of the most influential rap albums of all time (and possibly one of the greatest albums), The Chronic has gone triple platinum since its release, selling over five million copies. As one of Rolling Stone's greatest albums of all time, The Chronic boasts some of the best rap songs to date, and many of Dre's career hits. Top tracks from the album include "Let Me Ride" and the ever-incredible "Nuthin' but a G Thang". Of course, we can't for the notable track "B tches Ain't Sh t". Complete with insult tracks about Eazy-E, as well as some great collabs with Snoop Dogg (among others), The Chronic is nothing short of a great album.

This is Dre's best song. Akon and Snoop Dogg did great along with the best of the rappers: Dr. . beat I love this song so much. I Need a Doctor" sucks.

Producer : Dr. Dre, Tommy Coster Album : The Marshall Mathers LP Label : Aftermath, Interscope. In a 1999 episode of Behind the Music, Dre admitted that he knew Eminem's "My Name Is" would be a hit because it was the most annoying song he'd ever heard. That essence of annoyance was used to even greater effect on 2000's "The Real Slim Shady," which transformed the yellow head from Detroit into a global brand. Eminem's reflexive anthem inspired hundreds of imitations, the best of which has to be "The Real Sin Savior" by the Pittsburgh-based evangelical group ApologetiX: "Will Smith don't gotta discuss the Christian path to salvation/Well, I do-it affects him and affects you to. SMH. 24. Straight Outta Compton" (1988). Producer : Dr. Dre, DJ Yella Album : Straight Outta Compton Label : Ruthless, Priority. Straight Outta Compton.

Not even the best Dre album lol. And you're insane if you think that 2001 is a better album than Illmatic. Oh and for you 2001 Doggystyle ? B. Bounceounce. Propaghandi - Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes Still relevant. Maybe especially relevant. Nils Frahm - Spaces The best of classical and electronic music.
