Einstein's brain was removed within seven and a half hours of his death. The brain has attracted attention because of Einstein's reputation as one of the foremost geniuses of the 20th century, and apparent regularities or irregularities in the brain have been used to support various ideas about correlations in neuroanatomy with general or mathematical intelligence.

Albert Einstein, the Nobel prize-winning physicist who gave the world the theory of relativity, E mc2, and the law of the photoelectric effect, obviously had a special brain.

Einstein's death 60 years ago was just the start of a strange journey for the most prized part of his anatomy, his brain. At 01:15 in the morning of 18 April 1955, Albert Einstein - theoretical physicist, peace campaigner and undisputed genius - mumbled a few words in German, took two breaths, and died. The pathologist who conducted the autopsy, Dr Thomas Harvey, had gone further than simply identifying the cause of death - a burst aorta. He had sawed open Einstein's cranium and removed its celebrated contents. I think he had hoped to make a name for himself in medicine in a way that he had been unable to do.

Einstein's brain had a much shorter lateral sulcus that was partially missing. His brain was also 15% wider than the other brains. In 2012, photographs of the external surface of Einstein's brain were analzyed and published in the journal Brain

Interesting Facts About Albert Einstein's childhood, brain, theories, inventions, quotes, married life etc. 1905 was the miracle year in Einstein's life. 41. Left Germany forever: Einstein left Germany in December 1932, a month after Adolf Hitler became the chancellor of Germany. Einstein’s move to the United States was permanent; he never entered the country of his birth again. 42. Brain preserved: In 1955, after the death of the famous physicist and scientist, his body was cremated and ashes scattered. However, the only part of his body that was retained by pathologist Thomas Harvey at Princeton Hospital while conducting his autopsy was his brain

25, 1915 – Albert Einstein presented his famous theory of relativity to the Prussian Academy of Science in Germany. But from Einstein's death emerges a different chapter. It's a story that's not garnering as much attention. It happened just eight hours after the legendary physicist passed away on April 18, 1955.

He then took pictures of Einstein’s brain from various angles, after which he divided it into 240 fragments and encased each of them in a plastic-like material called collodion. The pathologist created 12 sets containing 200 slides each, which comprised tissue samples of Albert’s brain. While Thomas retained 2 sets for his own examination, he distributed the rest of the samples to other pathologists who were big names in the same field. This is a picture of the mastermind’s brain before being sectioned

Einstein’s brain was guarded heavily by Dr. Thomas Harvey who did autopsy and he was possessed by an obsession to prove that Eisnstein’s brain was really special. Dr. Thomas Harvey chopped E’s brain into 240 pieces, took photographs and till he died at the age of 94 he kept bugging neuroscientists to find an answer to his question.

Einstein's brain was removed within seven and a half hours of his death. For Science?! How Einstein's Brain Is Different Than Yours. Einstein believed Indians are stupid in Hindi.
