30° Everywhere, the debut album from the Promise Ring, is still their best; it's basically straight-up pop/emo, very catchy, very intense, very powerful. Beautiful lyrics and melodies move from somber thoughts to moments that will make you smile in understanding. It's sort of like the soundtrack to a ride through your memories.

Exclusive discount for Prime members. Sample this album Artist (Sample). The unintelligible lyrics and lousy singing not withstanding, the songs on the 30° Everywhere are pretty lousy as well. There is no catchy "Everywhere In Denver" anywhere else on the album, and it sounds as if the band is just going through the motions for the remainder of the painful 40+ minutes left before the final song (which, thankfully, is an instrumental. I'm sorry to all the die-hard Promise Ring fans who probably love this CD but 90° Everywhere is not good
