The Magic of Christmas is a 1960 album by Nat King Cole, arranged and conducted by Ralph Carmichael. This was Cole's only full album of Christmas songs, although he had recorded several holiday singles earlier in his career. One of these, "The Christmas Song", originally recorded in 1946, was re-recorded for the 1961 album The Nat King Cole Story.

Edward IV of England was a king of England. He was born on April 28, 1442. He was King of England from March 4, 1461 until his death on April 9, 1483. Edward was the eldest of the four sons of Richard Plantagenet, Duke of York. The Duke of York was a very powerful man, and had a claim to the throne of England. He became more popular than the existing king, Henry VI of England, who was thought to be weak.

King Edward IV did not face any other Lancastrian rebellions. His only rival was Henry Tudor, the future King Henry VII, who was living in exile, would eventually return to England and defeat Edward’s brother King Richard III, the last Yorkist king, at the Battle of Bosworth Field and to become the first Tudor king. Had King Edward IV lived longer, perhaps he would have become one of England’s most powerful kings.

King Phillip IV of France set his sights on the fabled riches of the Knights Templar. The one surefire way was to accuse them of crimes so heinous that, if proved, no one would dare come to their rescue. King Phillip’s audacious plan was to arrest every Templar in France, charge them with heresy, and exact immediate confessions from them by torture before Pope Clement V or anyone else could protest on their behalf. By making the charges religious in nature, Phillip would be seen not as an avaricious thief, but as a noble servant of God. Jacques de Molay, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, had been called to Poitiers, France, for the purpose of discussing with the new pope a new crusade to retake the Holy Land.

King Edward III granting his son, Edward the Black Prince, Aquitaine. He rose to fame as one of the original Knights of the Garter and won his most celebrated victory at the Battle of Poitiers (1356), before travelling to Spain where he a series of famous victories restored Peter if Castile to his throne. Hotspur played a significant part in the deposition of Richard II and the ascent to the throne of his replacement Henry IV, before falling out with the new King and taking up arms in rebellion. He died leading his rebel army into battle against royal forces at Shrewsbury. Joan of Arc. Joan of Arc received her first mystical vision when she was still a child, an event which was to chart the course of the rest of her turbulent life. She took upon herself the mission to save France and bound her fate to that of her country.

King Edward IV is the older bro of Richard, Duke of Gloucester (. Richard III) and George, Duke of Clarence (. When the play opens, King Edward IV is ruling over England, but the guy's health is failing. Everyone is sort of hanging around waiting to see what happens after he dies. We don't see much of this character, but before King Edward dies, Richard dupes him into believing that his brother Clarence was plotting against him. (In fact, it was Richard. Edward's death reminds us that family members can't always be counted on to be loyal or loving
