A cd version of the EP was released as a bonus cd with the Japanese version of 2009 album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.
Forming in 1997, they released their eponymous debut album in 2004, which hit in the UK Albums Chart. This was followed by ‘Empire’ in 2006, which performed even better, reaching in the chart, as did ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’, which came out in 2009, ‘Velociraptor!’ in 2011, and ‘48:13’ in 2014. The band released their latest album, ‘For Crying Out Loud’, in April 2017 via Columbia Records, which reached album in the UK. They toured the new release around UK arenas later that year
Kasabian’s second album, ‘Empire’, was released in 2006. During the making of the album, band member Christopher Karloff quit the group due to artistic and creative differences. Shortly after releasing the album, Kasabian headlined Glastonbury 2014 for the first time. In 2015, NME nominated Kasabian for a total of 9 awards, beating the previous record held by Oasis at 7 nominations in 2009.
